Prologue

Regan is a young woman whose life has been spent on the streets and dark alleyways of London, England. Until 1841 when she receives the opportunity of a lifetime to become a maid in the Buckingham Castle, working for Queen Victoria herself. Her life takes a downwards spiral and is left vulnerable with a secret to protect. She must keep this secret safe from everyone, including The Queen and the man who knows her best.
