The Bone Forest

For years, peace has been kept in the world of Earthtree, where people are divided into two branches of magic: bone witchcraft and stone magic. Though the branches have their differences and prejudices, they live in relative harmony, protected by an enchanted barrier from the unnamed and unknown enemies to the North.
Despite being born to one of the most legendary witches of her time, Mhera daughter of Nita has never carved a successful talisman. Her whole life, she's been seen as a disappointment.
