Author's Note

The Culling is set in a distopian future where young adults are forced to battle each other for the right to survive. Humankind has unlocked the innate ability to use energy to perform magic, but magic can't save them from the harsh realities of an overburdened earth.

The Culling follows Charlotte, a healer with a troubled past. Sent to fight a survival game as a right of passage, Charlotte finds herself with an unlikely ally. In spite of her determination to hate Orville, the rich boy from the other side of town; Charlotte finds herself drawn to him.
