Dawn

Legend has it that the desert lands of the Orion Province were once inhabited by enormous predatory arachnids called Scorpios, but as the human population grew, the Scorpios were hunted down for sport and their numbers dwindled. When slave girl Brynne Najem accidentally stumbles into the burrow of one of the last remaining Scorpios, taming it may be her only chance to escape the clutches of her master.
