(Just getting an obsession out) This Undertale fanfiction is set in a world where Asgore abandoned the throne after Asriel's death instead of declaring war on humans. Toriel takes control, but it isn't long until the supremely intelligent W. D. Gaster usurps the throne to suit his own interests. In short, it's a story where Frisk gets caught in an Underground ravaged by war. Same characters. Different backstories.
