Prologue

A young girl,
Annie,
Had been through terrible experiences.
From being bullied at school,
to being abused at home.
She didn't have enough confidence back then to run.
But,
she joined a track team.
She had the confidence to run now.
She graduated high school on May 6th, 2016,
And she wasn't stopping there.
She ignored bullies.
She ignored pain.
And,
Well,
She ran.
A run for freedom.
With only a rucksack of supplies.
Who knows.
She might meet a friend or two on this great journey of hers.
