Lies within his heart

Forbidden.

I hate that word so much but I knew it's the truth, my love is forbidden and the only thing I could do is keep my distance. Watching him bring different girls home even when he thinks I don't notice. I knew my love wasn't normal, I knew I couldn't express it in public and yet here I am desperate to scream it to the world. He needs me to be the man he looks up to, a roll model to show him the right way. How can I be his father if I am in love with my own son and he doesn't even know it.
