Explain to me why life must be so complicated. Why can't it stay comfortable? The ice cold air filling my lungs couldn't give me goosebumps the way Matty did. The secrets he kept couldn't make my heart drop like it did when he kissed me. I felt like he was my distraction from the complicated things that were coming my way. Little did I know he would put everything into perspective for me.
