Prologue

Jason Hammel is the beta of the Mile High Pack, a position which keeps him busy. Love and romance are things he just doesn't have time for, and as for a mate, he's not even sure he has one. Jason is gay, and as far as he knows, the only gay wolf in the pack. But then he meets a human, Blake, things start to change for Jason. For the first time in his life, he considers a relationship, but Blake has his own secrets that might make their relationship impossible. On top of that, an enemy pack member is claiming Jason as her mate, leaving the beta to sort between his duty to the pack and his personal feelings.
