Penelope Forde had little memory of the night she was shot. She was an NYPD cop of ten years, and was now going home to her small town of Mystic. She had hoped to find some peace as small town sheriff, and instead Michael Trippe shows up in her town after his grandmother's death and stirs her emotions. And just when she thought she had a hold on them, bodies start piling up and she has to fight her inner fears to stop the killer before he strikes again.
