The eternal wait

My nights since I came here have been unbearable; with the memory of our love in my mind, I can barely breath, knowing that you're not by my side. I'm scared about the distance, because I will miss you more than anything else. You became my inspiration when I was lost in a world where nothing is as it seems. You found me and you save me from my own darkness. Now that we are so far from each other, the only thing I have left is my poetry. My verses aren't perfect and maybe I'm not talented, but I promise you that they all come from my soul; all of them and each of them made just for you, and they're here now, waiting till the day when I see you again.
