"Because," He paused, making sure to make his next words ruthless. He inched towards her second by second, his heavy-set boots kicking the gravel under him. His voice held a different emotion than his eyes. His eyes gazed at her solemnly, but his voice laced with hatred, and it was eating at the cries for help from her. "Your friend fucked with the wrong person."
