Chapter 1: Hair Drama

Every year on December twenty third the vampire king throws a huge ball " inviting " every human who is eighteen and every vampire that is a thousand to attend. I say he invites us but it's law that you come once you reach the age. The humans go and party and mingle enjoying their last night of freedom while the vampires watch them closely silently coming up with which group they should be in.

No one would have thought that something as simple as a mask or a pair of eyes would spark such a unlikely romance.
