Asami Sato is a CEO of the most prosperous company in Republic City- "Future Industries". She had to work hard after her father, Hiroshi Sato, got arrested for drug distribution. The name of the Sato organization was in shades for a while until a handsome man, Mako Sann, came to offer help.

The plan was simple: those two had to get married, uniting their companies therefore sharing all financial wealth. But everything changes when Korra appears at the doors of Asami Sato's house.
