When Dawson Randolf was eight years old, she thought her parents were her biggest heroes. They risked their lives to serve in America in the military and navy.

Then the dreaded letter came. At only eight years old Dawson raised her baby sister with the help of their grandmother. Ten years later, Dawson enlisted in the U.S. Navy to honor her parents, but that meant leaving Ashley in the care of a friend.

The twenty year old now has a few months off and what does she do first? She takes her sister to a One Direction concert, but things don't go as planned.
