Alaina was just a normal eight year old girl with her best friend, Daniel. Everything thing was going fine until that day at Mirror Lake, where Daniel had disappeared.

Ten years later, all of these questions start to pop up in Alaina's head, and she doesn't know why. Where was Daniel? What had happened to him? And most importantly, was there something actually magical about the lake that Alaina had always gone to as she was a child?
