The letters came up at random times in his life of random times in their lives. But Louis was always expecting them. It wouldn’t be a surprise if one day he would find a letter dated a year back. Or if he found a letter written a month ago. Some were sad, some were happy. Some of them, Louis reread until the words were tattoo’d at the back of his mind. And others were hastily hidden behind a book after being read. Even fewer, Louis would stare at, tears catching at his eyes as he tried to look away from Harry’s words. But they were always the same. The letters always ended with the same three words. Scribbled, scratched away, or signed carefully. Each and every note ended with I love you. Because Harry just couldn’t stop loving Lou.
