Before they release it to the public, however, they kidnapped over 500 teenagers and send them around the globe to secret government buildings where they are impregnated. The program, dubbed Surrogates Incorporated, was born. Then babies were selected to join the program and become Surrogates the self when they reach the age of 15. They are brainwashed and released, with a partner, into the real world at 25, for women that means having given birth to 10 children she doesn't remember. For a man this means possibly being a father to hundreds. Everyone in the world is perfect. This is because people are engineered to perfection. A couple is only allowed two children, but they can customize every detail of their children simply by sending in a form. The government has everyone believing that the babies are grown in artificial womb, but this is not the case. Human bodies are more complicated than that. Audrey is a fifteen year old teenager that has been a part of the program since she was born. She was raised by workers in a secret building and has never seen the outside world. But she also can't help but fall in love with the life growing inside of her, and wondering if she can escape.
