He knew her pale eyes like the back of his fingers. She knew his silhouette like the sun warms the meadow. Their fathers prayed at the same church, bought groceries at the same market, and attended the same college. They were childhood companions, but, what happens when their comforting friendship is manipulated by the tensions and desires of adolescence?
