Teenagers in the UK have it pretty hard these days. A world full of no opportunity and no one to turn to but the few close friends you've managed to make and the only fun you have is getting drunk in a field but telling your parents you're at a sleepover is a pretty bleak existence. No one really knows what they're doing or where they're going except that somehow they're going make it there. Well, maybe they'll make it, they'll try at least.

Illicit follows a group of friends, trying to find love or at least happiness whilst they try and achieve their ambitions and make their parents a little bit proud. But nothing in life was ever easy, was it?
