Description
"Love destroyed people, it was but the persuasive mother of the devil himself. She would capture her victims, stick an arrow of love straight through their hearts and leave them broken, mattered messes with scars that could never heal." Eric had made a promise to himself, a childish contract of a sort, to never fall in love, to never fully give himself to anyone. Fooled by twisted misconceptions, he meets Teddy, a playful, sweet polar opposite of himself who teaches him that there's far more to love than shattered hearts and broken souls. This is an entry for Avylinn's treacherous contest.
