Book one of the Kaze series
Hi! My name is Kaze. I'm fifteen years old, but not exactly. I'm immortal. For some reason, life just refuses to give me a break. I love humans, but can't get any closer to them than I already am because I'm the Guardian of the Wind. I protect the wind and specialize in wind magic. People hate Guardians, so I'm in huge trouble when I get thrown into the human world. What happens after that is a bit crazy and takes about four books to explain in detail. And this is the start. Oh boy, here we go.
