Ever since Addie Evergreen was very little, she knew she wasn't like other girls. She knew there was a reason she didn't quite fit in with her peers at Sunset High School. Could it be her shy personality and her complete social awkwardness? Or is it how she talks the plants? That's right. Plants. Addie Evergreen was raised by plants after her Grandmother died in a tragic car crash. Flowers and vegetables of every kind. Other than her lack of a social life, things haven't been going too terrible for Addie. She finally realizes that she has a gift of the green thumb passed down by her grandmother. She can do amazing things with her powers. But when a mysterious boy moves in next door, Addie finds things get a lot harder. She struggles to keep her secret from the boy as they become closer and closer, but she feels that if she doesn't explain to him somehow what's going on, it might shatter the growing relationship and friendship that her and the boy have. But if news got around about her Grandmothers' magical garden, more might be at stake than just a silly romance.
