I see swimming pools
and living rooms
and aeroplanes
I see a little house
on the hill
and children's names
I see quiet nights
poured over ice
and tanquery

but everything is shattering and it's my mistake

we find each other in the margins we create
under street lights and on street corners
the spaces we forge together become sacred and safe
our very own microcosm
we can indulge in this feeing even through we've been taught not to
when we hold hands and we kiss and we dance
