Nora Fray is trying to live. After loosing her dad at a young age she also lost her mother to cancer. She is left with a bakery that she is willing to keep standing. It's all she has left of her parents. So when there's a chance to save it she takes it without thinking twice.

She has to fulfill a contract but she fears she'll walk away with a heart that won't be able to heal. He's toxic and everything she fantasizes about. She's caught doing things she shouldn't. It is Max Hamilton who seems to have the control and he is willing to have Nora come along for the ride.
