Destined to be a Pokemon breeder for the rest of her life, Victoria has pretty much given up on her dream to be a trainer. She's a good breeder and with her grandparents getting older, they can't afford to find somebody else to train. Being a breeder is fine, really, it is. After 16 years she's gotten over the fact that none of these Pokemon she cares for and lover are really, truly hers. It's fine. She can deal with this.
But, when she journeys into Mauville City to buy more Pokemon food and a Team Magma recruiter promises her a life with her own Pokemon, as a real trainer, a set of events throw Victoria into the life she always wanted. That of a trainer. Just, not exactly in the circumstances she thought.
