Every school has that one money fueled popular kid. Clark Wilson is that kid. Armed with good grades, likeability and a father who has had more experience in the business world than you would ever think, Clark, like most good old southern boys, is very prejudice. Willow Mayfield works hard to help her father with the bills. Willow wants to leave this small town in Georgia and journey somewhere where she feels less unique. Why? Willow is black. So maybe, just maybe, Clark Wilson is going to have to pull himself out of his prejudice attitude, because a school project requires communication, and these two definitely are going to need to do some of that.
