Description
Two things I knew for certain: We were equal. We were happy. I trusted in the way things were. I trusted in the Euphorics. They wanted us to be happy, they made sure we all knew we had a place in society. They made sure we all knew how important we were. It was perfect; it was home. I never really knew when, or at what point, Euphoria stopped being home, but when I realized we weren't supposed to be the way we were, I wasn't really sure in anything anymore. One second, it was great, it was right, but the next it was just me and it was just them, and I had to protect them. I don't know why, or what told me to, but I felt the need to make sure nothing happened to them. The things I now know for certain: We are not meant to be perfect. We are not meant to be controlled. And if Euphoria falls, we go down with it.
