(0) Prologue

"You're having affair." Tristan gulped.

"I am." I stated shortly. He opened his mouth to speak then closed it and the silence laid over the thick tension in the room.

"44 Days." He muttered so low I almost didn't hear him.

"What?"

"You have 44 days to fall in love with me again and if you don't, Arabella, then we can get a divorce. If it comes to that."

I studied his expression to make sure he wasn't joking and a sly smile spread across my face as I nodded sticking my hand out to meet his.

"Deal." I said. But I knew that after 44 days I'd be signing those divorce papers and I'd be free to live out my twenties.
