Chapter 1: Bad News and Moving Back

Skylar Woods had the perfect life. A best friend who loved her, top of the social pyramid, wealthy parents and a great house in beautiful South Carolina. That all changed when her dad lost his prestigious job as a lawyer and they were forced to move across the country to Texas. Just as she was adjusting to her new life everything she loved was taken away. After her parents die in a boating accident and she can’t stay by herself, she is forced to go back and live with Amanda (her best friend) and her family. After being back for only a couple weeks she learns something about herself that changes everything.
