Prologue

25 year old coffee shop owner Lydia Welmington is a happy person. She enjoys the little things and generally lives in the moment instead of dwelling on her past, except for when it comes to her dad. They had a strong bond, and 3 years after his life was taken by lung cancer, she still finds herself unable to live without him. She still visits his favorite spot every Friday, and still drinks his favorite coffee and listens to his favorite music. No matter what she does, Lydia still can't seem to grasp the fact that her father is gone. So her bestfriend Marie does a little digging and comes upon free-spirited James Harvey, who might just be Lydia's perfect medicine.
