Chapter One

Bambi is a fifteen year old girl struggling to make it in one of the roughest neighborhoods on the east side of Chicago. Her mother doesn't care about her and her father moved to New York to run a drug Empire. All she knows is pain, drugs, and violence. While trying to survive on her own she encounters many troubles. All she has is her pen and her paper to express herself. Finding herself in a few sticky situations she creates a bond with an older boy that promises to change her life. Wanting to end her struggles so desperately, she believes him. She believes he could possibly be the answer to all of her problems. As the story unfolds you see who cares, who doesn't, who's out to get her, and how she may or may not conquer it all.
