Synopsis

Maggie Griffiths likes to live in the now. The past is the past, and the future is too far away. She simply focuses on what's now. Her life in New York. Her job at the best brewery in the city. Her gorgeous townhouse that she grew up in. Her tiny group of close knit friends. And her best friend, James. The past doesn't matter. The terrible choices she made years ago don't matter. And the strange, heart pounding, stomach flipping feeling she gets around James doesn't matter either. Besides, she's a wreck when it comes to relationships, and he's totally unavailable.

James O'Donoghue likes to live in the now, but he still holds onto the past. And the future will come when it comes. Besides, being a superstar hockey player, and an all around 'nice guy' keep him pretty busy. But when he's not busy traveling for work, or practicing his shot, he's thinking about one girl. And that one tiny chance, that seems to have happened aeons ago. Because sometimes, James looks to the past. And sometimes, he wishes she were his future.
