Meet Genesis James. After her mom died when she was 9, Gen's father turned to alcohol. He became an abusive drunk and shut Gen off from the world. On one fateful 4 am drive, she comes face-to-face with the one and only Lin-Manuel Miranda. He takes her in and she learns that the life outside her four walls is very different from the life she lived in them.
