Phoenix Reborn

My entry for Avylinn's VOLATILE contest.

Eighteen year old Phoenix West has been told her entire life what to say, what to wear, what she wants to do with her life. That comes with having parents famous amongst the archeologists, she would say only half-joking. When she gets the best news in her entire life it sends her on a whirlwind of emotions and she doesn't know what to do. This could potentially bring her unbelievable happiness or could lead to her family cutting all ties.
