One way or another

I'm a teenager - a girl - and I have feelings too.
Therefore I wrote these poems to tell them to you.
But hush, no kiss and tell;
I trust you with my secrets.
And if you do spill what you're about to read, promise they will keep it.

This is a book filled with darkness,
but within the darkness you will find a light.
You just got to take a look.
Will you dare, or do you disappear into the night?
