Or really he has nothing figured out, and is content with winging his way through college. Theo's universe has always been particularly bright and interesting; he lives in an off campus apartment with his best friend and older brother, he's studying art and has a good job at the local bar. Everything has been just fine since he left his toxic hometown, leaving everything that scarred him behind. Ace Archer is lusted by many but known by few. He's spent the last two years building a new life for himself, away from everything that had ever weighed him down. He's a star on his college's soccer team, his grades are exactly where he needs them and he's more than content with the way his universe has been turning. When the two of them cross paths for the first time, the collide is enough send both of them reeling. Ace has never felt a pull as great as Theo's and Theo has never thought something was missing until Ace. They're drawn to each other, no matter how much they try to convince themselves otherwise. But neither of them is as put together as they make out. Theo is still trying to heal from a love that was anything but great, and Ace is vehemently against letting anyone past the hardened shell he's spent years crafting.
