Zola Braham and Nina Query

In this world people are followed by two shadows, one good and one bad that will help them through life. Zola Braham has two bad shadows. Nina Query has two good. When a law is passed that states that any two-shades will be executed the girls try to help each other to keep their secrets safe and try to balance out the voices following them around with their own.
