Eleanor Montgomery is a lost girl from Boca Raton, Florida who has watched her parents fight with each other for over 10 years, and one night she snaps.

She packs up everything she cares about, including her sister, and drives off to the only place she can think of: her best friend's house.

Sammy Wilkinson lives in Omaha, Nebraska. To say he was shocked when his best friend, Eleanor Montgomery, shows up on his front porch step is an understatement.
