Leo Carson is tired of his older sister Zoe always getting them into trouble, and this time he doesn't think he can get them out of it. The two travel inside of book where there's a whole other world filled with magic and funny looking creatures. But they soon realize it isn't all fairy dust and pixie fuzz, there are some real evils that lurk in the trees of the Greyskin Forest and they need to get all the way to Callyria's Cabin in Sweet Song Meadow so they can get home. With the help of an enchanted dog named Tuck, a boy prince Phil, and an old imaginary friend Fred, Leo and Zoe are going to travel through this crazy world to a witch that can grant their wish. But what will they be leaving behind?
