Prologue

The ladies are here to strike again. This time, it's lady Renditia's turn. When her lady friends suggest that the Earl of Sussex seems interested, she starts devising a plan to get rid of him. Renditia was never good at planning, but she will surely put all her force into this one life-altering event. Her manners, however, might deceive her and coerce her into accepting an offer that she truly wishes she never had.

(This is actually the first story in my series, while Too Pensive to Notice is the third part. The stories are in chronological order, but you don't need to read them in any specific way. It's just more fun if you do)
