Rose O'Neill arrives at a new school after a fire causes the closure of her previous one.

She brings her girlfriend Louise with her and the future looks good for them until she has to leave....her father is a policeman and is transferred to another division.

In an attempt to find stability, Rose seeks comfort in the arms of a teacher who only has good intentions.....However another teacher is also interested in Rose and will do anything to get her...

To complicate matters....a third teacher joins the story and she has a link to the past of both Rose and Louise.
