Carter is the typical school misfit. The normal high school nerd, but when strange things begin to happen to her body, she realizes that she's not just going through late puberty.

She is the last of an extinct kind of magic, she is the last hope to bring back a dead species and defeat a new form of dark magic. But what happens when her supposed extinct race isn't really extinct? Can she control her powers for long enough to be able to bring them back?
