PROLOGUE: THE FLASHBACK

Charlotte Grace Hemingsway may seem like your average 16 year old girl on the outside, but she sure has a very interesting backstory that made her this way. Charlotte was adopted at birth, by a loving family. She never had any sort of contact with her birth mom. The only thing she had left of her was her name, Charlotte. It had never really crossed her mind if she did or did not have siblings until now.
Now, in the year 2020, Charlotte discovers an abnormal scene as she volunteers at her local hospital. Will this discovery be life-changing or life-threatening?
