You know how in movies, TV shows, and books there's always rainbows and sunshine, as well as unicorns popping left and right? And, even if the character starts out with some unfortunate incident, something positively life changing always happens to them by season two or chapter three. From then on they start spewing Taylor Swift's lyrics, and quoting Nicholas Sparks' novels. Not that these storylines are bad but the side of the world that I have seen does not attest to this bounce back mechanism. Yes, I agree that I should be grateful for all the privileges that I have because not many have these opportunities. But I have come a long way, made many sacrifices and suffered many obstacles to be where I am. So when someone like myself argues that the world we live have different sides, do not vehemently disagree because they probably have lived the Dystopian Reality.
