With each tear that fell I knew I lost something .The way the tears slid down my cheek ,leaving a small trial of salt.That itchy mess it created. The marks I knew would fade but would leave a burn forever imprinted on my heart.

I knew he'd make sure I turned to ash before leaving me to rot in my own misery.
