Chapter One

Emerson is a normal girl. That's what everyone else thinks, but she's really not. Emerson is depressed. She self harms. She hides her sadness behind a smile, for a while. Until it turns out that she can't due to a big shock about someone who she dearly cares about passes away. She becomes too depressed that she cannot smile anymore. She won't speak, eat, sleep, anything. She walks around school completely quiet and in her own little shell. Until, one day, she receives a bigger shock that she could ever wish for, and everything turns around.
