Its the summer of 62, and Charlie Weeks is 15 years of age. She's in love with baseball and plays it everyday with her 8 best friends; Benny Rodriguez, Yeah-Yeah, Squints, Ham, Bertram, Kenny DeNunez and Timmy and Tommy. She meets the new kid in town, Smalls, who she treats like a little brother. She and Benny teach him how to play ball and The Sandlot Kids are having a great summer until Smalls gets them into the biggest pickle ever. What happens next?
