Ares III landed on Mars on November 7, 2035. The crew consisted of Commander Melissa Lewis, Rick Martinez, Beth Johansen, Chris Beck, Alex Vogel, Mark Watney and me, Samantha Barnes.

Disaster wasn't supposed to strike... Or well, it wasn't supposed to hit as hard as it did.

Watney was hit by the antenna that was attached to the ship...

And naturally (yeah, right), I went after him.
