It's 1983, and 17-year-old Stefanie Westcott seems to have it all: a circle of friends, a cute boyfriend named Kevin, a high GPA, and a good fashion sense. But when she's dared to talk to a quiet boy in her grade, Stef's whole life changes in ways she wouldn't have thought.
